Well this was the final day of the Canthan new years event
Kinda sad because its the first event i’ve played in in a long time where i’ve played with a friend, the good thing is Kahlia really enjoyed the festival ^_^
She didnt get to play on Friday due to her friends error =_=
But she got to play on Saturday and today, we managed to do all the quests and sat through the finali about 6 times ^_^
I managed to get through farming the lunar tokens over and over again, about :-
- 159 bottle rockets
- 66 Sparklers
- 156 Champagne Poppers
Then i dedicated myself to finding a Mini Celestial Rat for the both of us
Kahlia had ~SQUEEE’d over seeing another players Celestial mini pet, so i made it my goal to get her one ^_^
So after 6 hours of farming on Saturday after she left to go do some shopping and go to her concert, i managed to obtain 2 Mini Celestial Rats, one for me and one for her ^_^
So after that i farmed tokens pureply for the red gift bags, and obtaining them during todays finalli just added to the overall rewards =D
The finalli gave us 16 red gift bags for each event, so i ended up with about 166 red gift bags from combining the token farming and the finalli events, while Kahlia ended up with around 110.
Also the item ANET was on about being brand new and never before seen in Guild wars was a “Crate of Fireworks”
The description reads “Uses: 1 Double-Click to activate a 10 minute fireworks display. This item can only be used in the Guild hall”
So we went the the guild hall, got a good seat on the balcony of the Central hall, and we watched one box if fireworks turn into 10 mins of amazement <3
After Kahlia logged off, i took us through one last event and farmed one more set of tokens.
Opening all my read gift bags revealed
- 108 Bottle rockets
- 150 sparklers
- 99 Champagne Poppers
- 36 Suggary blue drinks
- 26 red bean cakes
- 21 bottle of rice wine
- 1,600 gold
Total amount of fireworks for this event
= 266 Bottle rockets / 255 Champagne Poppers / 216 Sparklers / 30 crates of fireworks
So think i have enough including my tonics to get to the first rank of party animal <3
Bring on halloween christmas and the dragon festival is all i can say! xD
And the bean cakes, sugary drinks and rice wine go well with my other titles <3
I just want to give a big shout out to Kahlia, thank you for making this event one of the most fun i’ve had in Guild wars, it was an honour to play with you, and i cant wait till the next festival =3
Well i have work tommorow so i’m gonna go get some sleep
