GW Halloween Day 2: Don’t Fear The Reapers!

Gotta love the name of tonights quest, “Dont fear the Reapers” for the win xD

The quest on the otherhand, is not so much win T_T

The objective is to solo the underworld (Not do the quests, but basically survive), and to find all 7 Reapers and convince them to meet king Frozenwind to discuss the Dhuum situation.

Well it went well until the Necro area…….semi easy to reach the reaper, all but impossible to get back out due to not being able to heal, and being hit with mass degen hexes, took me 15 attempts to finnaly get out of there, the rest were easy, just time consuming. So like yesterday, here are the lore scripts for this quest……just wish there was a spoiler tag feature on wordpress cause this is gonna be a frickin long post >_<

Loving where this is going, it looks like Dhuums gonna finnaly break free……..i wonder if he breaks free inside the hall and we have to go in, or wether hes going to come out……

I have to say though i LOVE how ANET are hyping Dhuum here, he’s had absolutely nothing mentioned of him exceopt a few minor scraps of info, and now we get all this fresh info, “Dhuum the ender of all” and all that, “Do you hear that? a sound beyond silent yet louder than screams….”

I know Lindsey and the rest of the live team can pull this off, i have a small fear that the conclusion wont be as amazing as the hype is making it, but i also feel confident Lindsey and co can give this a amazing conclusion, i know Kaworu will be pissed if Grenth dies and Dhuum takes over ^^;

So, will the next quest be tommorow or maybe thursday?…..cant wait, this is the first fresh content since the M.O.X questline >_<

I mean all this time i just presumed it was Lazarus the Dire…..and it could still well be…..but could it have been an Agent of Dhuum? making him create the golems to kill the major leaders ot Tyria so that the world would be disorganised and in chaos when the time came for Dhuum to break free?

God so many questions @_@

Hopefully i can do this difficult quest again on my other 4 characters to get another100 Trick or treat bags and 28 Phantasmal tonics xD

GW Halloween Day 1:The Ender Of All…..

Well the first of a series of GW quests hit the game today, i gotta admit im loving how they are adding the quest series in gradually rather than all at once, really spreads the event out and adds to the drama imo.

Anyway they announced last week that we would be getting special quests this year, this year only, with this as the eye catcher

“Brave the dangers of the Underworld on a series of spine-tingling quests for Mad King Thorn, available this Halloween season only. An ancient evil stirs deep in the Underworld—can you hold back the rising tide of darkness?”
Well there was leaked info a day or so before the event began, but it wasnt as detailed as the main event (Obviously xD)

Today was just the beggining, and here are the quest dialogues for todays quest. =)

Which is then followed by all this text xD

I like where this is going……is Grenth going down? will there be a war of the gods?, will we get to see Dhuum himself?

As usual A+ grade to ANET for their effort and dedication to the players, loving this so far, bring on the rest of the story damnit! ><

But god i love how they linked the recent 7 Min underworld speed clears to this “Too many beings have been slain recently”, so essensially WE the players have brought about this event, which is what i love most i think, we the players are shaping the lore of the future xD

I want the full theme though, hopefully somoene who got a japanese pre order will upload the theme, including sounds and voice overs, and NOT put a trojan or something in it, id love to have the full theme available xD

All done with the putting my stuff back on now, just unpacking the GW client for the event in 20 mins xD

Then i gotta install Aion sometime tommorow ready for the sunday Event

Gotta say Windows 7 is frickin Sweet! everything runs so much faster, and almost everything is working now =D

Also swapped AVG 8.5 Antivirus for Avira Antivirus, much faster and discovers more viruses than AVG apparently, runs pretty fast, only takes 50 mins to scan the whole system, AVG took 3 hours.

Got all my firefox extensions back, emails, photos videos etc etc

Just finnishing off unpacking the GW files and ill be able to play in the halloween event starting soon =D

Trick or treat bags here i come >D

Need party items for the party animal title track and alcohol for my drunkard title xD

Ill post a screen of my setup sometime xD
